Obituary Jim Webb, 73, of Seymour, formerly of Sevierville, went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, December 8, 2022, following a long illness. Jim and his family moved to Sevier County at the beginning of the development of outlet stores. He designed and managed stores featuring china and crystal across the southeast as well as stores that sold TV’s and other equipment. He later earned his commercial real estate license and was an Agent for Colonial Real Estate. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Margie Webb of Memphis; and niece, Lauren Hobbs. Jim will be greatly missed by his wife of 52 years, Patt Webb; son and daughter-in-law, Chris Webb and Summer; son, Wesley Webb; grandchildren, Carson and Evie; brother, Jerry Webb and wife, Charlene; nephew, Jason Webb; nieces, Andrea Skean and Laurie Fudge, and their mother, Retha Shawver; his aunt, Lottie Webb; cousins, Debbie King, Lynn Webb, Barbara Howell, and Richie Webb; and his brother-in-law, Jimmy Wright and wife, Donna, and their son, Brad Wright; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of extended loving family members and friends. According to Jim’s wishes, there will not be a funeral, but the family will have a celebration of life when his ashes will be returned to the ocean where he loved to go on vacation. The family requests in lieu of flowers that friends consider a donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in honor of his grandson, Carson. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the Amedysis Home Health Care and Hospice teams for their professional and compassionate care given to Jim.
