Jettie’s Obituary Jettie Lucille Reavis Neal, 88, passed away Friday December 30, 2022. She was born February 11, 1934 in Yadkin County to the late Charlie Winfield Reavis and Ida Frances Macemore Reavis. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, needle point, loved working on the farm, also working at Yadkin Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ralph Jerry Neal; grandson Shawn Ward. Surviving are her children Sheila (Lynn) Elledge, Mary (Jeffrey) Secrest; Charles (Gina) Neal, Shirley Pardue; grandchildren Rev. James (Erin) Williams, Robbie Williams (Fiancée Amber Kruel), Logan Secrest, Hannah Secrest, Loren (Hannah) Neal, Kailey (Kendall) Lanier, Tiffany (Jerry) Bales; great grandchildren Ethan Williams, Levi Williams, Brad Williams, Ella Owen, Nova Bales, Xena Bales, Ryder Neal, Allen Ward, Dixie Ward. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday January 1, 2023 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday January 2, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church by Rev. James Williams and Rev. Bert Mathis. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center, Mountain Valley Hospice, Liberty Hospice and also to Gina Neal and Kailey Lanier for the loving care given to Mrs. Neal.
