Jerry’s Obituary Jerry Lloyd “Coppertop” Gray, age 68, of Madisonville, passed away, Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Jerry enjoyed playing Sudoko and was an avid collector of old things. He retired from Mayfield Dairy after 38 years of service driving a truck. Jerry was also a former Madisonville City assistant fire chief. Deacon of Steekee Creek Baptist Church. He will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Vincent “Bull” Gray and Iva Faye Gray, sister, Wanda Sue Gray; He is survived by his wife of 50 blessed years, Gladys Gray, children and their spouses, Rebecca and Tim Tallent, Daniel and Misty Gray, Jeremy and Crystal Gray, Mark and Jeana Gray, sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Theodore Watson, Peggy and Everett Hunt, Debbie and Jerry Coleman, 13 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters, numerous nieces & nephews, and beloved dog, Benji. Funeral 7:00 P.M. Friday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. David Coffman and Rev. Charles Hunt officiating. Interment 11:00 A.M. Saturday, Mullins Cemetery. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Friday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
