ST. PAUL, VIRGINIA – Jeffery Angelo Goodson, 61, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at his home. He was born in Norton, Virginia; son of the late Carter Wade and Carrie Elizabeth Phillips Goodson. Jeffery was of the Christian Faith. Hobbies he enjoyed the most were being an artist and avid painter, studying paleontology, and astronomy. He is survived by three sisters, Veronica Dorton Chesnutt of Rocky Mount, Virginia, Venus Dorton Blevins of Castlewood, Virginia, and Faith Paula Goodson of Raleigh, North Carolina; two brothers, Joel Madge Phillips of Anderson, South Carolina and Gregory Paul Goodson of St. Paul, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
