She was born July 17, 1943, in Florala the daughter of Bill Hudson and Mary Alice Hart Hudson. Jeanie worked in the banking industry for many years. She enjoyed shopping buying for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved working around her home especially caring for her roses. Jeanie always took time almost every day to workout. Her greatest legacy, however, was the immeasurable mark she left on her family. Known to them as Jeanie, Mama, Moma Jeanie and MiMi, she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by husband, Ted Tizekker; grandson, Dusty Bryant; father, Bill Hudson; mother, Mary Alice Hart Hudson; brother, Billy Hudson. She is survived by daughter, Vicki Edwards, son, Gregory Earley and wife Debbie, sisters, Peggy Clark and husband Pewee and Shirley McClintock and husband Harry, grandchildren, Lacy Edwards, Landon Earley, April Settles and Ashley Smallwood, great grandchildren, Allie Settles, Greyson Settles and Treyson Settles. Funeral services for Jeanie Hudson Tizekker will be 3PM Sunday January 1, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home with David Amason officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
