Jay T. Rohler, 73, of Lebanon, went home with the Lord on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on Thursday, May 26, 1949 to the late Alfred Rohler and Betty Lou Rohler (Reese) in Norfolk County, Virginia. Jay was proud of his country and served in the Army before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He spent his career as an accountant, ultimately retiring as the Cost Account Supervisor at Ward Manufacturing. Jay harnessed a passion for lending his experience and his time to Partners in Progress. He loved golfing, reading history and crime novels, dancing, playing pool and listening to music, especially Tom Petty. Jay is survived by his loving wife Lisa Rohler; children Neil Rohler (Ursula), Darren Rohler (Danielle), Ashly Ryan (Daniel), Christopher Reese, Cary Rohler (Jennifer), and John Hersey (Christy); 9 Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild; Siblings Terry Rohler (Linda), Dennis Rohler (Maureen), Don Rohler, Joanna Paup (Sam), Kathy Rohler, and Gina Rohler; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to Jay’s visitation at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Christman’s Funeral Home located at 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA 17042, services will immediately follow at 11:00am. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
