Janice’s Obituary Janice I. Englert, 68, of Allentown, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 12, 2022. She and her husband, Richard A. Englert, would have celebrated their 49th anniversary on November 3rd. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Lillian L. (Butz) Hertzog. She was employed by the Allentown School District for about 25 years, working as a Secretary and Health Room Assistant at Harrison-Morton Middle School. Janice was an active member of St. Paul’s U.C.C. in Allentown where she was the organist for 25 years. She was a graduate of Dieruff High School, Class of 1973. Survivors: Husband; Children, Christopher G. Englert and Nicole L. Lucas and her husband James; Siblings, Richard Hertzog and his wife Linda Lou and Linda Lukow and her husband Brad; Grandchildren, Natalie and Kyle Englert, and Lidia, Dominick and Cecelia Lucas. She was predeceased by a Son, Richard A. Englert, Jr. Services: 11 AM, Friday, September 16, 2022 at St. Paul’s U.C.C., 340 E. Hamilton St., Allentown 18109.
