Ms. Janelle Vinyard Spraggs, age 89, a resident of Milburn, passed away, Monday, August 2, 2022, at her home. She was born on February 7, 1933 to the late Gordon and Zula Wells Vinyard. She was a member of Milburn Baptist Church. She worked at Deena Lamp and J & D Lamp factories. After her retirement, she enjoyed working in the yard, tending to her flowers and vegetable garden. She was active in Milburn Homemakers and in years past, enjoyed playing Bunco with friends. She loved decorating for Christmas and dearly loved her grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Robert Dale Spraggs (Evelyn), one granddaughter, Amanda Spraggs, one grandson, David Spraggs (Samantha), three sisters, Velma Allen, Judi Crider (Hubert), Ruth Rahm (Jim), one brother, Charles Vinyard (Carol), several nieces and nephews who affectionately call her “Nell Nell”. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Cincala, Barbara Breeding and her parents. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Kirbyton Cemetery with Bro. Glen Stewart officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
