James Ray Sanders October 12, 1944 – September 17, 2022 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mr. James Ray ( J R ) Sanders, 77 of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the AHC Facility in Paris. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Halter officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service. Mr. Sanders was born October 12, 1944, to the late William Arvil and Jennie Melissa (Twyman) Sanders. He was a manager of Tiger Mart in Bruceton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Sanders. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa A. McCaig, of Bruceton, a brother, William D. Sanders (Mary) of Huntingdon, two grandchildren, Michael Canady (Heather) and Amanda Canady. He also leaves three great-grandchildren, Levi Rabey, Addison Gafford, and Chase Gafford.
