James’ Obituary James (Jim) Lanzo, of Kimberling City, an avid hunter and fisherman, former running champion and long-time philanthropist originally born in Fairfield, Connecticut as the eldest son of Theodore and Antoinette Lanzo, succumbed to acute medical conditions after being airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri last Wednesday. The founder and President of a successful residential mortgage company, Jim led an inner-city youth ministry in Bridgeport, Connecticut, founded a Christian publishing company and faithfully donated, including use of a newly built house and trips to the Holy Land, to support the Church and those in need in the love of Jesus Christ throughout his adult life. His faith infused every aspect of his being, and his family and loved ones draw comfort from knowing he is pain-free in a better place, re-united with his beloved late second wife, Jean C. Lanzo. He is survived by his grieving wife, Janis Lanzo, three loving children, Doug, Shane and Chad Lanzo from his first wife, Jean D. Lanzo, his identical twin grandchildren, Gregory and Alex Lanzo, and grandson, Sebastian, older sister, Joan Reynolds a stepson Stephen Roose and wife, Lisa and their children, Danielle and Michael. A service will be conducted by Stumpff Funeral Home in Kimberling City with remarks by family and friends, including Billye Brim of Billye Brim Ministries, schedule and God willing, whose ministry Jim generously supported over many years in Israel, nationally and locally on Prayer Mountain in Kirbyville, Missouri. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO. To plant Memorial Trees in memory of James Lanzo, please click here to visit our Sympathy Store. Read More
