James’ Obituary James E. Mayer, 60, of Lower Macungie Twp., passed away February 13, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Billiejo (Mulzet) Mayer for the past 38 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Edward and Fay (Kline) Mayer. James worked for the Quakertown School District in the Mechanical Maintenance Department for 28 years until his retirement in 2013. He was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Allentown. James was a 1979 graduate of William Allen High School. Survivors: Loving Wife, Billiejo; Daughters, Stephanie Mayer and her fiancé William Lentz and Nicole Lawler and her husband Richard; Brothers, Joe Mayer and his wife Bonnie and Eddie Mayer and his wife Janice; Sisters, Marybeth Lang and her husband Fred and Kathy Gruzdis and her husband Eric; Grandchildren, Alexis and Taylor Lawler and Caleb and Annabelle Lentz. Services: 11AM Sunday, February 20th at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Street, Allentown. A gathering will be held 10-11AM Sunday at the funeral home.
