James’ Obituary James Darrell Roten, age 44, of North Wilkesboro passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Caldwell County. He was born August 4, 1977 in Ashe County to James Roger Roten and Bonnie Hawkins Bumgarner. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother and step-father, Bonnie Hawkins Bumgarner and husband Donnie of North Wilkesboro; father and step-mother, James Roger Roten and wife Linda of Bethlehem; one son, Ethan Roten of North Wilkesboro; two daughters, Lyric Prayer Roten and Riddle Roten, both of North Wilkesboro; two step-sons, Joe Gilliland of Florida, and Justin Gilliland of Nebo; one brother, Randall Roten of North Wilkesboro; one sister, April Dawn May of West Jefferson; one step-sister, Allison Rodriguez of North Wilkesboro; one nephew, Samuel Mullis; four nieces, Kyra Mullis, Kandice Fuentes, Kaitlynn Wagoner, and Kelsey Wagoner; and numerous beloved friends and extended family.
