James (Jim) Arthur Finnegan, Sr., 65 of Morton, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022, in his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Francis J. and the late Alma (Devlin) Finnegan. Jim was a loving brother, father, grandfather and uncle. Jim was born and raised in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, a graduate of Roman Catholic High School for Boys and raised his family in Delaware County with his late wife, Donna Finnegan. He loved spending time with family and friends and loved a good Phillies game. Jim had a fantastic sense of humor and could always be seen with a smile on his face. Survived by two sons Christopher (Joelle) Finnegan and James A. Finnegan, Jr., his brother Frank (late Maria) Finnegan, his sister Patricia (Jerry) Doto, his brother-in-law Leroy (Stephanie) Berridge, his sisters-in-law, Cindy Ashbridge and Brenda (Joe) Hoffman, and grandchildren James A. Finnegan, III; Zachary Finnegan-O’Reilly and Killian Finnegan and loving long-term partner, Patricia Ruffie Sullivan. Jim is survived by many loving nephews and nieces, especially his loving godson, Leroy Berridge, Jr. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 10:30am-12:00 noon at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pk, Glenolden, PA. Memorial service will follow at 12:00 pm at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
