Obituary James A. Spring, 73, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday November 20, 2022 at his home. Born on October 4, 1949 in Butler, he was a son of the late Arthur Joseph Spring and Norma Margaret (Miller) Spring. James graduated from Butler High School and also from Butler County Community College. He had retired in 2018 from JSP International in East Butler as Lab Supervisor, working as a Metrologist. He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and had enjoyed bowling, golfing, and spending time with family. He is survived by his sisters, Andrea James of Williamsburg, VA and Paula (Tung) Nguyen of Butler. Nieces and nephews: Dwella, Tracey, Ray, Norma, Naomie, Jennifer, Eddy, Adam, Nikki, Art, Reva and Rick. Great nieces and great nephews: Justin, Kenzie, Samantha, Alexandra, Ashton, Cooper and Grayson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Art and his sister, Linda. Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 10:00 am, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
