Obituary of Jacqueline Meile Jacqueline Meile, 94, of Niles, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the Westwoods of Niles. She was born on May 12, 1928, in Niles Michigan to the late Hardy and Jennie (McBain) Langston. She graduated from Niles High School. She married John Meile on October 4, 1947 at a ceremony in Niles. To that union two daughters were born. Jacqueline was a stay-at-home mom. She loved caring for her family and keeping her home. She enjoyed reading and knitting in her free time, and often took walks to keep herself healthy. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, and her siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Joe McCombs) Coulston of Niles; Julie (Jeff) Austin of Knoxville, Tennessee; one grandchild, Janey Austin of Knoxville, Tennessee. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and she will be laid to rest next to her husband in Silverbrook Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to Berrien County Cancer Services, 3900 Hollywood Rd, St Joseph, Michigan 49085.
