Obituary JACOB C. GARY was born December 8, 2003 in Sikeston, Mo to Trina Blackmon and Reginald Gary. Jacob soon moved to Cape Girardeau, Mo where he spent the rest of his life. Jacob departed this life on October 23, 2022 at the Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL. Jacob was a true light to everyone he met and was very talented in both Football and Basketball. He was also a member of the Honorable Young Men’s Club. Jacob was always laughing and making jokes with everyone. And will definitely be missed. Jacob is preceded in death by his Great-Grandmother and both Grandfathers Jacob leaves to cherish his memories one son; NyYear Horrell, his mother; Trina Blackmon, his father; Reginald Gary, three Brothers; Nathan Blackmon of Sikeston, Mo, Daryus Watson and Kareem Beyah both of St. Louis, MO. Two sisters; Jaleah Fletcher of Sikeston, MO and Armonie Pickens of St. Louis, MO. His grandmothers; Wilma Blackmon and Dorthy Gary Three Godmothers; Travonda Jenkins, Ramona Lilly and Omega Smily. A very special friend; Trinity Stafford. And a host of Family, Friends and other relatives. Services for Jacob C. Gary will take place on Saturday November 5, 2022 @ 1:00 P.M. at Greater Dimension Ministries 723 Hackberry St. Cape Girardeua, MO. Visitation will began @ 12:00 P.M. until the Funeral Hour of 1:00 P.M. Funeral will began following the visitation with Pastor Stafford Moore Jr. Officiating.
