Herbert G. “Mike” Fishlock, 85, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He was the devoted husband of the late Celeste F. (Vescera) Fishlock. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Evelyn M. (Clancy) Fishlock. Mike was a member of the Teamsters, Local 251 and had worked at Branch Motor Express for 35 years as a truck driver. He served with the RI Army National Guard for 30 years with the field artillery unit and was discharged as Master Sergeant. He loved being by the water, spending summers on the Cape, hunting, and will be remembered for his quick wit. He was a member of the Oakland Beach Firemen’s Club and the Warwick Lodge of Elks. He was the loving father of Loriann Delisle (Raymond), Michael G. Fishlock, and Lisa Lesinski (Brian). He also leaves his beloved grandchildren, Jason (Rachel), Jordan, Irinel, Annika, Rachel, Chase, and Jillian. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 10-11:30am with a service at 11:30 in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with Military Honors in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Multiple Sclerosis Society- RI Chapter, 205 Hallene Rd, Suite 209, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
