Helen Louis Patton, age 77, of Campbell, New York passed away on December 9, 2022 peacefully at home, where she so desired. She was born on May 21, 1945 in Savona, NY. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Rodney L. Patton (January 5, 2005) whom they were happily married for 18 years. In addition to Rodney, she is predeceased by her parents Richard L. Dusenbery (Bath, NY) and Isabel Ellis (Bath, NY) as well as several other family members- to include sisters: Mary Herrick (Bath, NY) and Sandra Brooks (Pennsylvania); as well as several aunts and uncles. Helen will be best remembered as enjoying traveling with the love of her life, Rodney. She found great joy from their adventures- to even include going to flea markets. Fishing was another passion of hers and being at the ocean was very spiritual for her. Helen also enjoyed Bingo and going to the Casino with her family. Helen is survived by two children: Charles (Pamela) Ogden of Campbell, Michael (Stacy) Ogden of Campbell; sister: Carol Hyde of Kentucky; brothers: Chuck King of Bath, Charles Dusenbery of Oklahoma, Stanley Dusenbery of Bath; ten grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney Street, Corning, NY on Tuesday, December 13 from 5:00-7:00pm. A funeral service will immediately follow with Pastor Greg Ferguson officiating. A burial will be held at Bath National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Helen would like those that wish to attend any of the services, to please attend. Helen loved her family immensely, and her presence will be missed by so many.
