Age 93, of Es, IL passed away peacefully Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her home. Born December 6, 1928 in Lincoln, IL to the late Earl Sr. and Ruth (nee Ingram) Ott. Helen was a dedicated farm house wife, whom also enjoyed sewing, painting, and gardening. Surviving are her husband of seventy-four years, Howard A. Burton, whom she married December 6, 1947 in Mayfield, KY; three sons, Daniel L. Burton of Gardner, IL, Ed Burton of Es, IL, and Donny (Brenda) Burton of Dwight, IL; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Cecil (Myra) Ott of Lincoln; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Preceding her in death were her parents, Earl and Ruth; son, Billy Gene Burton; sister, Audry Bryson; and two brothers, Earl Ott, Jr. and Joe Ott. Visitation for Helen will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, Braidwood, Monday, October 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow in Round Grove Cemetery, Campus, IL.
