Obituary Mrs. Helen Brunetteus Walters Driver, 87, of Tifton, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Mike Patillo officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 A.M. at the funeral home before the service. Mrs. Driver was born December 19, 1934 in Worth County to the late Charlie Thomas Walters and Bertha Moon Walters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Franklin Driver, Jr., her two sons, Randy J. Driver and Ronnie David Driver. Mrs. Driver was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was a 1951 graduate of Colquitt County High School. She was a housekeeper and retail clerk. She enjoyed writing poems, crocheting and reading her bible. Mrs. Driver is survived by her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Harrell Driver; her grandchildren, Rene’ Driver Crews of Waycross and R. J. Driver, Jr. of Brunswick; four sisters, Phyllis W. Hall of Moultrie, Faye W. Bridwell of Moultrie, Linda W. Strickland of Thomasville and Peggy W. Morris of Hephzibah, Georgia.
