Harold Seickendick, III, 60, of Brielle, passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune with his family by his side. Harold was born in Hoboken, NJ, and had lived in Bay Head, Point Pleasant and Brielle. He was a carpenter for over 30 years, working for the father and son of John Van Schoick Builders. He fought a tough fight until the very end for over 8 months. Harold loved fishing, was always telling jokes, but most of all had a huge heart. He had so many nicknames, Butch, Little Dutch, and all his customers knew him as Howie. Harold is survived by his beloved wife Polly Hood-Seickendick of Brielle, his loving son Harry Seickendick, IV and their canine companion Jupiter. Polly said there is such a huge hole in her and her son’s heart. She never met anyone who didn’t adore Harold. Harold was the cherished uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.
