Harold H. Vollmer October 7, 1937 – December 30, 2021 Share this obituary View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Harold H. Vollmer (October 7, 1937 – December 30, 2021) beloved husband of Susan L. Vollmer (nee Lively); dear father and father-in-law of Keith (Joann) Vollmer, Kim (David) Sieber, Meema (Leslie) Tisdale and the late Cory Vollmer; dear grandfather of LaBritteny (Megan) Burleson, Brandon, Justin, Sarah, Ryan, Andrew, Grace, Brody and Taya; dear great-grandfather of Brayden and Emmett; dear brother-in-law of Jeanne (Wayne) Cody; dear son of the late Edward H. Vollmer and Carrie Vollmer (nee Heinz); our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. Harold was a man of many talents and had a very strong work ethic. His first job was delivering newspapers door-to-door when he was 12 years old. He owned and operated Mister Donut (two locations) for 18 years and then became the General Manager of Terminus Technologies and retired at the age of 80. He showed his love by making jokes/teasing and being playful, praying for his family and texting Bible verses and words of encouragement. His strong faith and love for the Lord was his anchor and he was a role model for all. He was known for his zest for life and being a great friend. If there was someone in need, he would give what he had to fill that need and he had a kind word for everyone. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading the Word of God, sharing the Gospel with others, cheering for his hometown Cardinals and Blues, traveling and spending time with his family. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of St. Peters for over a decade and served as a Deacon and participated in Missions at Parkway Baptist Church in St. Louis. His life was a living example of one of his favorite Bible verses: “but because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:4-7 Harold was a Veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States: SP4 E4.
