Sister Gwendolyn Joyce Beck was born January 12 1960 in Greenville, Alabama to Lola Shepherd. The family later moved to Michigan where she would spend the rest of her life. Gwen was a loving wife and mother who leaves three children; Winfred Beck Jr, Latoris Shepherd, and Jessica Shepherd, she married on August 30 1997 and was preceded in death by her husband Winfred Beck, Sr. Gwen was the jokester of the family and lived to enjoy a good laugh with her family and friends. Gwen was always positive and upbeat. She was never camera shy and always stressed how important it was to create memories that would last forever. Gwen dedicated her life to Jehovah in June of 2003. Her faith and relationship with Jehovah was very important to her. Three siblings; Patricia Smith, Judy Chandler, and Jerey Shepherd, one aunt; Frances Shepherd and one uncle; Fee Woodru preceded Gwen in death. Gwen made her transition on Friday, November 11, 2022. She is survived by: her children; Latoris Shepherd, Jessica Shepherd, and Winfred Beck, Jr.,one brother; Henry (Diane) Shepherd, one sister; Sandra (Albert) Whitehead, one aunt; Janie Ridgeway, two grandchildren; Mykah and Desean Shepherd and a host of nieces, nephew, extended family and friends.
