Perez, 88, of Los Fresnos, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Solara Specialty Hospitals in Harlingen, Texas. Mrs. Perez was born in Santiago Michocan, Mexico on November 25, 1933. She was a resident of Los Fresnos, Texas since 1961. She was a devout Catholic woman and a current member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Isidro Perez, Sr.; parents, Marcelo and Atanacia G. Caballero; 5 siblings, Aristeo Caballero, Marcelino Caballero, Rodolfo Caballero, Margarita Caballero, and Audelia Garcia. Left to cherish her memories are her 2 sons, Isidro Perez, Jr. and Antonio “Tony” Perez; 3 sisters, Isidra Caballero Herrera, Maria Marina Garcia and Sara Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 606 W Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX with interment to follow to Los Cuates Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Antonio Perez, Isidro Perez, Jr., Juan Mendoza, Jr., Ignacio Mendoza, Miguel Mendoza, Guillermo Perez, Carlos Villarreal, and Julio Medrano.
