Glenn Stewart Durden, age 72, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born on April 28th, 1949, in Milledgeville, GA, where he spent most of his life. Glenn was a profound long-haul truck driver for over 50 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and enjoyed cutting grass with an ice-cold Bud Light. Glenn Durden was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Durden; his father, Ceicle Durden; and his brother, Lamar Durden. Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Durden; sister, Ellen Tindle (Dennis); brother, Thomas Durden; sisters-in-law Vickey Ricker (Charlie), Phyllis Corbitt, and Betty Taylor; his two sons, Michael Sr. (Aimee) and Kyle; his stepchildren, Alan Thrift (and family) and Shannon Moore (and family); his grandchildren, Carissa, Sarah, Michael Jr., Nickolas, Hallie, Maddie, and Declan; and his three great-grandchildren. There will be a Visitation celebration of life for those who wish to visit the family and give their condolences on Friday, January 21, from 5 PM to 7 PM. We will not be having a service.
