Harold Glen White, 89, of Plymouth, IL died at 12:49 am Saturday August 6, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Carthage, IL. He was born on October 22, 1932 near Bentley, IL to Baird and Helen Hardy White. He married Pat Hendrickson on November 24, 1973 in Augusta, IL. She survives. Glen was a graduate of Carthage High School and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict after graduating. He was a farmer and employed by D & M Earth Moving and served as the Hancock Township Road Commissioner for several years. He attended the Colmar Christian Church. Glen enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushrooming. He is survived by his wife Pat, a daughter, Bonnie Andrews of Elvaston, IL, a son, Robert White of Plymouth, IL, 2 step-daughters, Debra (Tim) Hilgenbrinck of Ursa, Il and Pamela Hendrickson of Macomb, IL, 8 grandchildren, Brandon and Nathan Cadwell, Kaylee Ussery, Amanda Miller, Ashley Cornwell, Andrew Miller, TJ and Shelby Hilgenbrinck and Brooke and Kimberly Griswold, a brother, Chester (Myrtle) White of Carthage, IL, a sister, Del White of Ft. Madison, IA and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, George, Bill and Bob White, 3 sisters, Peggy Duncan, Mary Harris and Betty Webb. Cremation will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday August 10, 2022 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL with Rev. Dan Ormond and Rev. Randy Webb officiating. Inurnment will be held at Scott’s Cemetery at a later date. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scotts Cemetery. The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL is handling arrangements.
