George Robert Jackson Jr., affectionately called GR, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday November 11, 2022 ,while at his home in Lake Worth, Texas. George was born December 28, 1983 in Camp Springs Maryland, to Ann Gerow Jackson and George Robert Jackson, Sr. During his primary education, George attended Wylie ISD, the Marine Military Academy and ultimately graduated from James Madison High School. After high school, he searched for excitement and independence, working and traveling all over Texas, until he settled in the Fort Worth area. Here he met a young lady, who would become the mother of his child and change his life forever. Becoming a father was transformative for George; cherishing his role as Journey’s dad above all else, his values were always deeply rooted in the importance of family. George was preceded in death by both his father George Robert Jackson, Sr., and mother, Ann Gerow Jackson. Left to cherish his memories are: his daughter Journey Ann, and her mother, his niece Piper Ann and his sister, Jennifer Greer and her husband Jonathan, as well as, an array of friends from all walks of life. Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 19, 2022 at 12 noon in North’s Funeral Home Chapel with a cremation to follow.
