George N. Plouffe, 74, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late George E. and Virginia (DeConte) Plouffe. Mr. Plouffe worked in the laundry department at the Zambarano/Eleanor Slater Hospital for 25 years before retiring. He lived in Burrillville most of his life and also lived in Woonsocket and Chepachet. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Plouffe was the father of Keith M. Plouffe (Jennifer) of Moosup, CT, Dawn Plouffe of Woonsocket and the late Holly Plouffe. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren. Visitation Friday, Dec. 30, 2022 from 1-3pm in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be private.
