George E O’Rourke 93 of (Billerica), born in Boston, son of the late Dennis and Hazel (Stevens) O’Rourke passed away December 16, 2022 at Regal Care in Lowell, MA. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Barbara (Swim) O’Rourke; his son Michael G. O’Rourke and wife Carole of Medway, MA; his son James D. O’Rourke and wife Sue of Townsend, MA; his daughter Patricia F. Loomer and husband Scott of Sandwich, MA. George left 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. He served in the US Army 1951-1953 during the Korean War and in the US Army Reserves 1953-1957. At the family’s request a private ceremony and burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Road, E. Chelmsford, MA 01824.
