Obituary Please share a memory of Genieve to include in a keepsake book for family and friends. View Tribute Book Genieve Mae Prewett, of Dixon, MO, passed away on December 9, 2022 at the age of 85. She was born on June 3, 1937 in Waynesville, MO to the late Otha Lee and Melba Fern (Fuller) Null. On July 10, 1954 she married Franklin George Prewett in Newburg, MO. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Franklin George Prewett (October 22, 2011), her father, Otha Lee Null (December 30, 1991), her mother, Melba Fern Fuller Null (July 18, 2014), her granddaughter, Kagney Dawn Gann (April 24, 1994), her sister, Bonnie (Null) Bolten (September 4, 2016). Genieve retired in 1993 from Fort Leonard Wood from civil service and was also a past president of the Fort Leonard Wood Union. She was a member of Shephard Baptist Church, Dixon. She enjoyed traveling, playing board games, cooking for her family, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed making memories with her grandchildren. Those left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Prewett include: two sons, Ray Prewett and wife Sheri of Jefferson City, MO, Roger Prewett and wife Shereen of Orlando, FL; three daughters, Beverly Dawber and husband Stephen of Dixon, MO, Beth Rowden and husband Larry of Dixon, MO, Theresea Gann Lollis and husband Bill of Dixon, MO; two sisters, Marie Bell and husband Franz of Dixon, MO, Linda Jo Routh and husband Jimmy of Dixon, MO; fourteen grandchildren, Brandon Dawber, Heather Rowden Weed, Lacy Rowden Casey, Samantha Prewett Becker, Rachel Prewett Feick, Kendall Gann, Lucas Gann, Aleatha Lollis Fite, Christopher Lollis, Morgan Gann Snelson, Tyler Prewett, Amira Prewett, Zayd Prewett, Janna Lily Prewett; nineteen great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Prewett will be Brandon Dawber, Lucas Gann, Matthew Becker, Dustin Casey, Dusty Snelson, and Chase Shaul. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Lollis, Sheri Prewett, Stephen Dawber, Larry Rowden, Shereen Prewett. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Dunkard Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
