Gail A. Vergato – Age 74, wife of the late Richard J. Vergato died peacefully Thursday, Nov. 17 at her home. She was born in Providence, RI, December 16, 1947, the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Farrell) Gilmartin and was raised in Cranston, RI and moved to Billerica in 1988. Gail worked at the 99 Restaurant on Middle Turnpike in Billerica for many years and later worked at Raytheon in Bedford prior to her retirement. She is survived by her children, Lori Beckwith and her husband Jeffrey of Hudson, NH and Eric Vergato and his wife Diana of Billerica and the late Mark Vergato; her loving grandchildren, Brian Vergato and Megan and Brady Beckwith. A visitation will be held Monday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 10 – 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 12 noon. Memorial contributions may be made in Gail’s name to the Franciscan Children’s, www.franciscanchildrens.org Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
