Mr. Frankie Alexis Campagne Vazquez, age 65, of Blairsville, GA., passed away on Saturday October 01, 2022, at his home following an extended illness. He was born on March 28, 1957 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to the late Reynaldo Campagne and the late Carmen Lydia Vazquez. He had served in the US Army as a medic, obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and worked as a manager in the water resources industry. Frankie was a family man who loved hunting, fishing, but especially being a father and grandfather to “his Girls”. Frankie enjoyed history, music, movies, grilling, always connecting with family and friends, and bear watching in his back yard. His laughter and good-nature is already greatly missed. Frankie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Henry Campagne. He is survived by his loving wife, Ileana Nieves Campagne, four daughters: Lorraine Campagne (Tom) Enright, Michelle Campagne (Jean Paul) Vega, Ariana Campagne (Adolfo Jimenez), Melanie Campagne (Jordan) Cox; his sisters Mayra and Carol Campagne; seven granddaughters: Mikeyla, Janelle, Sofia, Abby, Layla, Ellie, and Kenzie; and many extended family members and friends. He is also survived by his loving in-laws, Hector and Paulita Nieves, and their extended family. Interment and graveside services will be at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA., with Military Honors presented by the US Army at a later date.
