Obituary Floyd Delma “Buck” Abercrombie, 87, of Escatawpa, MS passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. He was born February 17, 1935 to the late Nolan and Marlene Abercrombie in Covington County, MS. Buck was a member of Christian Freedom Fellowship Church. He was a hard-working man of many trades but he was best known for being a loving, loyal, and dedicated husband, father, and “Pawpaw”. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed wood working, shrimping, fishing, gardening and planting flowers to make his yard beautiful. In addition to his parents, Buck was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Elizabeth Abercrombie. They were married in 1959 and together they built a loving family with 9 children, 23 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Buck leaves behind three sons, a daughter, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers, and many other relatives and friends. The visitation for Buck will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. Interment will follow at Oral Cemetery in Sumrall, MS with Brother Dean Smith officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Coltin Coulter, Noah Coulter, David Coulter, Christopher Abercrombie, Fisher Abercrombie, Adam Coulter, and Bryan Tapper. Honorary pallbearer will be Ryder Davenport.
