Florence Elizabeth Hasiuk, 93, of Morton, PA and recently Poughkeepsie, NY, died July 8, 2022, in her home in NY. Born in Bayonne, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Aleksander and the late Anna (Mikut) Skrocki. Florence was a secretary, employed by General Electric, and later by the University of Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed the diversity of the students in the graduate Physics Department. She was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, participating in the Altar and Rosary Society and the Over 50 Club. She also coordinated Project Hope for the parish (providing rides for handicapped and seniors) along with her husband. Florence loved children, and was a Girl Scout Leader for two generations of young women, encouraging creativity and resourcefulness. She was a talented artist who, after retirement, joined the local Art Guild and became a prolific water color painter. Florence was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and someone who was always generous and kind to others. Predeceased by her parents and her siblings Henry Skrocki and Helen Kostyk. Survived by her husband: Adam Michael Hasiuk, daughter Florence Joan Freeman, grandchildren: Jill, Annie, and Adam. Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 10-11:15am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA followed by her funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment will be Saturday in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to American Heart Assoc, 1617 John F.
