Flora’s Obituary Groton- Flora M. Maynard, 95, of Groton passed away November 10th at LM Hospital. She was born on June 27, 1927, in Groton, the daughter of Evener and Edna (Cornell) Joyner. Flora was married to Richard Maynard, Sr. He passed away in 1997. She is survived by her sons Richard, Jr., and Thomas Maynard; her daughters Betty Tetreault, Sharon Wiggins, Ruth Keller, and Gloria Maynard; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 17th at 1 p.m. at Smith Lake Cemetery, Poquonnock Road, Groton. There are no calling hours.
