Doug Chapman officiating. Faye was born October 29, 1944, in Gilbertown, AL to W.O. “C” and Emma Rene Chapman. She passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Choctaw Health and Rehab in Butler, AL. Faye was an avid reader and she also enjoyed planting and tending to her flowers. She is survived by her daughters, Tamara Chadwick Doggett (Greg) of Gilbertown, AL and Jacklyn Chadwick Shipp (Doug) of Jachin, AL; brother, Tony Chapman (Mary) of Pleasant Hill, AL; sisters, Joyce Turner (David) of Needham, AL and Sheila Bonner (David) of Butler, AL; grandchildren, Matthew Doggett and Seth Doggett; and great grandchildren, Josh Stringer, Jack Doggett, Josephine Doggett, and Harper Doggett. She was preceded in death by her father, W.O. “C” Chapman; mother, Emma Rene Coody Chapman; husband, James Hudson, Jr.; brothers, Ray Chapman, James “Rat” Chapman, and Wendell Chapman; and sisters, Rachel Sullivan and Lynette Daniels.
