Evelyn (Nightingale) Decesare, age 56 of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2022. She was the wife of Todd A. Decesare. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Raymond E. and Barbara J. (Burdick) Nightingale. Evelyn was a very positive and happy person. She loved playing bingo, and enjoyed shopping, crocheting, and traveling. She was the beloved mother of Cassandra Nightingale, Megan Nightingale, Shane Nightingale, and Todd A. Decesare, Jr. Loving grandmother of Alessandra Nightingale, Jace Bernard, and Lilliana Nightingale; caring sister of Donna M. Matos, Dorothy E. DuBois, Raymond E. Nightingale, Jr., and the late Howard E. Nightingale and Barbara J. Dasilva. Evelyn is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Her burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
