Mr. Eulalio Tanseco passed away in his sleep on Sunday morning, February 27, 2022, at the age of 79. Mr. Tanseco was born on March 27, 1942, in Catbalogan, Samar, Philippines. Son of Leocadio and Josefa Tanseco. One of ten children, he was raised in Catbalogan and educated from the prestige M.I.T. (Not that one, Mapua Institute of Technology 🙂 ) in Chemical Engineering. He taught algebra in Sacred Heart College for 1 year before coming to the United States in 1968. He resided in Linden, NJ but would ultimately raise his family in Piscataway, NJ. He had a lengthy career with Exxon/Conoco Phillips at Bayway refinery in Linden, NJ where he was employed as an instrument technician. He retired at age 65. Friends and family referred to him as Laling or Al. he was an avid billiards player and enjoyed competing in billiards with his friends at the Piscataway Senior Citizens center. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Specifically weekend trips with friends and family to Atlantic City, NJ. When not playing billiards or in Atlantic City, Laling could be found tinkering in his garage, solving math problems at the kitchen table for fun, or competing with his family in Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Aleida Borja Tanseco and their two children, Eulardi and Alyssa. Eulardi and Alyssa’s spouses, Joyce and Jonathan. And finally, his grandchildren Nate and Gabby who he adored. He also loved his fur grandbaby Atlas. A huge believer in higher education, Laling’s crowning achievement was seeing his daughter graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing as well as seeing his son graduate with a Masters of Business Administratior.
