Obituary Eugene Lynn McClure, age 56, of Grants Pass, passed away on February 23, 2022 at his home. He was born on July 21, 1965 in Alameda, California to Larry Eugene Hardesty and Nancy Ellen (Stewart). Eugene was a selfless, big hearted, compassionate giver, and a wonderful dad and loving brother. Eugene was a very happy guy! He made people feel comfortable as he was always smiling and shared his infectious laughter with everyone he met. A man with a plan was Eugen McClure…he constantly made plans to show everyone a good time and wanted his friends and family to enjoy life as he did. After the birth of his first daughter, the family moved from Tracy, California to Grants Pass where Eugene enjoyed Hellgate Jetboat rides, road trips, whitewater rafting, and camping. Survivors include his fiancé Sandy Birchell, daughters Tanna McClure and Coral Davis, sister Cindy Berndt and her husband Rickey, and sister Anona McClure, brothers Monty McClure and Dirk McClure. “I feel my brother lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every day of it. I will miss our talks on the phone…laughing and reminiscing about our childhood and life in general. I will always remember you.” – Cindy To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Eugene, please visit our Tree Store or plant a tree. Read more
