Obituary EUGENE FRAZIER SR., entered eternal rest on Thursday August 4, 2022, at Tulane Medical center in New Orleans LA. Mr. Frazier was 61 years old and a native of Harvey LA. and a resident of Lutcher LA. He was born on July 24, 1961, to Mae Francis Frazier and the late Esaw Frazier Sr. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Sunrise Baptist Church by the ate Harrison Castle. He continued his walk of faith at the King David Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ferdinand Wallace in Lutcher LA. He was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System and was a construction worker for many years. Mr. Frazier was married to Darlene Frazier and to this union one son Eugene Frazier Jr. was born. Left to cherish his memories is his beloved mother Mae Francis Frazier, siblings Esaw (Faye) Frazier Jr., Bonnell Frazier, Antonio Frazier Sr., Frances (Tony) Mayfield, Beverly Butler, Laura Williams, Donna F. Junior, and Dana (Sebastian) Malin. He is also survived by 5 sons Eugene Jr., Jamal, Gerald, Dwight, and Brandon Thomas, 9 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Esaw Frazier Sr., one brother Windell Frazier, two nephews Paris Frazier and Neil Williams, six nieces, Taneal Williams, Dione Williams, Khaleel Williams, Harmony Williams and Tamyra Frazier, one brother-in-law, Glendell Junior and his longtime companion Cheryl Thomas. Eugene will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Israel Baptist Church, 1612 Esther Street, Harvey, LA 70058 at 10 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Dr. Johnny McKinnies Sr. host pastor. Pastor Ferdinand Wallace officiant. Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, LA. Due to COVID-19, it is recommended that everyone in attendance wear a facemask.
