Obituary of Emily A. Brasmeister Emily A. Brasmeister, 48, of Amsterdam, NY passed away suddenly on November 2, 2022. Born October 21, 1974, to Anthony and Barbara (Fordham) Schotts, Emily attended local schools and graduated from Herkimer County Community College, with her Associate’s degree. She worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer for NBT Bank but was a proud caretaker of her children and home. Emily loved reading, photography, and spending countless hours shopping. She is survived by her mother Barbara Schotts; sons Anthony Brasmeister, Nicholas Brasmeister and Tyler Korona; significant other Paul Korona; brothers Robert (Margaret) Youngs and James Youngs (Lorraine Delcostello); stepsister Barbara (Eddie) Hume; brother-in-law Rick Husted; sister-in-law Joann Youngs; loving cat Roxy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Anthony Schotts, brother Richard Youngs, and sister Lisa Husted. Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. At the request of the family services are private.
