Obituary Emily Marie Hyle, 85, passed peacefully into the presence of Jesus October 7, 2022. The 10th child of Bertha and Benjamin Willey, Emily was born on a small farm near Altoona, PA. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Bezek of Colorado Springs, a grandson, Ian Bezek (Catalina), of Sincelejo, Colombia, and great-grandchildren, Carolina and Ian David. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Albert Hyle and her son-in-law David Bezek. Emily was a Master Gardener and operated Emily’s Perennials for many years. Her plants bloom in gardens all over the Southern Tier. Emily was a member of First Baptist Church in Johnson City. She had many friends who generously helped her and sacrificially loved her in the last months of her battle with cancer. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. October 11, at Barber Memorial Home 428 Main Street Johnson City. Gifts may be given to Mercy House in Emily’s memory.
