Ellen Ann O’Brien, 70, formerly of Bear Creek Road, Northville, left this earthly world to go to her eternal rest in Heaven, on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. She was born in Niskayuna on January 13, 1952, a daughter of Robert E. and Gertha E. Kamper O’Brien. Ellen was a 1970 graduate of Northville Central School. She proudly served in the US Air Force from 1971- 75 and was stationed at the Plattsburgh Air Force Base. In 1976, she became a civilian fire fighter for the base before retiring due to illness in 1984. Ellen will be greeted by those who have gone before her, including her parents, her youngest brother, John O’Brien, her beloved beagle, Frosty Joe, other family members and friends. Survivors include a sister, Gretchen (Roland) O’Brien-Bills; two brothers, Barry (Cheryl) O’Brien and Michael (Phyllis) O’Brien; her best friend, Doreen Banovic; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and dear dear friends. Ellen will be remembered for her goodness, kindness, and generosity to her nieces, nephews, friends, and strangers. Cremation was performed at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. In accordance with her wishes, a graveside service with military honors will be held in the spring at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brennan Memorial Humane Society, in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Robert M.
