Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Cooper, age 84, of Orrville, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at her home in Orrville with her family by her side. Betty was born on June 19, 1938, in Orrville, Ohio, to the late Kenneth and Mary (McNutt) Turner and graduated from Orrville High School in 1956. She married Harold “Coop” Cooper on September 25, 1960, at the Church of Christ of Orrville now known as OCC. They enjoyed 62 wonderful years together. She was a homemaker until the kids were all in school and then worked at Buehler’s in Wooster designing the layout for the advertisements. Betty was a volunteer for C.A.M.O. and was an active member of Orrville Christian Church. She participated in bible studies, helped with bible school, and the funeral meals at OCC. She enjoyed getting together with her class friends, the YAYAs. Betty was well known for her macaroni salad and was an amazing baker. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Going to their sporting events was one of her favorite things. In addition to her husband, Harold “Coop”, surviving are four daughters, Michelle L. Krall of Canal Falton, Lisa K. (Michael) Ammon of Smithville, Deb S. (Don) Musser of Orrville, and Deanna L. (Timothy) Grose of Wooster; nine grandchildren, Heather (Eric) Geyer, Amber Krall, Shawna (Tim) Mathew, Megan (Michael) Benchoff, Zachary Ammon, Brandon Ammon, Sean (Hayley) Krall, Alexus (Danny) Crowder, and Hunter Marcus; 7 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Troyer, and Mary Jo Kapper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, James Turner; and son-in-law, John Krall. Friends may call on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm or on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Orrville Christian Church, 925 North Elm Street, Orrville, from 10:00am to 10:45am. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the church, with Pastor Tom Ledford officiating. Burial will take place at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.
