Elizabeth “Bette”‘s Obituary Elizabeth “Bette” J. Stoodley, of Dunnellon, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Cates Hospice House in Ocala, FL. She was born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Filadelphio and Isabelle (Perry) Bonacoursi. Bette grew up in Lawrence, MA. She had worked for IT&T in Lawrence for many years later working for the IRS. She enjoyed dancing, playing bingo and. going out to restaurants. Bette had been a resident of Salem, NH for over 30 years prior to moving to Florida. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Fortier of Dunnellon, FL; her three daughters, Priscilla Miller of Manchester, NH, Sharon Brienza of Bradenton, FL and Debbie DeCola and her husband Art of Salem, NH; her brother; Robert Bonacoursi and his wife Janet of Hernando, FL and by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Stoodley, her children, Sonny Banks and Paula McShan and by her sisters; Anita Giles, Freda Newbury and Bonnie Jacobs. Visiting hours are Wednesday, January 19th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The funeral service is Thursday, January 20th at 11:00am in the Douglas & Johnson chapel. Entombment will follow in Eternal Light Mausoleum, 23 Pond St., Salem, NH. Read More
