TROY – Elizabeth Ann “Bethy” Lynch, 70, formerly of Euclid Avenue in Sycaway, died peacefully, Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at her home in Troy. She was born in Troy on August 19, 1952, the beloved daughter of Joseph A. and Angeline Picarillo Lynch, Sr.. Bethy was raised on Euclid Avenue in Sycaway. She always left an impression on everyone she met and always would light up your day and world. Bethy always carried a purse and loved the musical “Mamma Mia” and many other Broadway shows. She loved watching “I Love Lucy”, “The Golden Girls” and the movie “Grease”. She was a member of the Rensselaer County ARC. She was the beloved sister of the late Joseph A. Lynch, Jr. and is the beloved sister in law of Marjorie Brier-Lynch of Lansingburgh; dear aunt of Christopher (Ellen) Lynch, Kieran (Tina) Lynch, Patrick Lynch, Daniel (Nancy) Lynch and is survived by 5 great nephews and many loving cousins. She is the niece of Mary Theresa Hogan of Troy. Bethy also leaves behind her many friends who were like family from the Brunswick Center and the Rensselaer County ARC. Her funeral mass will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church in Troy. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the church prior to the mass from 10-11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sidewalk Warriors of Troy, 22 Morningside Drive, Latham, NY 12110. Arrangements are by the Doran Funeral Home of Troy.
