STOUGHTON – Elaine L. (Johnson) Tuschl, age 97, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born on Nov. 18, 1924, in Dodgeville, Wis., the daughter of Christian and Carrie (Johnson) Gilbertson. Elaine married Henry Johnson on Jan. 22, 1944. After Henry’s passing, she later married, Joseph Tuschl on. July 2, 1966. She spent 42 years with Joe, traveling and she also enjoyed playing cards. Elaine worked in assembly production for Ohio Medical Products. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church. Elaine is survived by two sons, Gary (Darlene) Johnson and David (Vicki) Johnson; stepson, Bill (Judy) Tuschl; stepdaughter, Barb (Ron) Hermansderfer; sister, Ruth Arnold; brother, Neil Gilbertson; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Tuschl; former husband, Henry Johnson; and three brothers and three sisters. A celebration will be held at a later date.
