Obituary Mrs. Elaine Jackson, 78 of Maxwell Rd., passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 17, at 11:00 am at Clement Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Keith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 am. Born in 1944 in Sampson County, Elaine was the daughter of the late Clifford Carlton and Olavia Sivertsen Jackson and a retired employee with Hamilton Beach. She was a devoted member of Clement Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Elaine was always known to be the one to crack a joke and make you laugh. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her two sisters: Faye J. Faulkner of Burlington, Donna J. Williford of High Point; three nieces, three nephews; two great nieces and five great nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clement Baptist Church, 6020 Maxwell Rd., Autryville, NC 28318; or to the American Diabetes Association: PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
