Berghorn, 66, of Clayton Delaware went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 28th 2022. She was born in Dover Delaware on 10/10/1956 the daughter of Ruth Berghorn and Jack Berghorn. Eirline “Oda” worked at Bayhealth for over 30 years. She worked in many departments, 2A, Chemo, 4A, and Care Management. Oda was an avid photographer. She enjoyed taking photos of her friends, family and especially her many nieces and nephews and Bombay Hook. She loved her fur babies Molly, Bentley, Pup, Gibbs, and Oliver. Oda had the best sense of humor. That sense of humor will be missed by so many especially by her co-workers and family. Oda was survived by Julie Patterson and her husband Richy and their children Donnie, Destiny, and Ruthy. Brothers, Danny Willey (Dawn) of Hartly, Paul Bergorn (Debbie) of Florida, sister Judy Franklin of Tennessee. Nieces, Christa Rowlands, Amber Kauffman, Amy Slack Doralee Berghorn, Allie Ferrell, Katy Thomas. Nephews, Daniel Willey and Timmy Fabuien. Her best friend Steph Johnson of Clayton and a longtime family friend Ellen Copper (even though we call her family). She was predeceased by her parents Ruth Berghorn, Jack Berghorn, and brother John Berghorn. Services will be 1 PM on Wednesday January 4th at Faries Funeral Home in Smyrna, Delaware, with a visitation beginning at 12 PM. Burial will follow in Bryn Zion Cemetery in Kenton, Delaware. Afterwards there will be a celebratory meal held at the Faries Reception Hall back at the funeral home.
