Edward’s Obituary Edward G. Quesenberry, age 80, died Monday January 17, 2022 following a brief illness. He was born April 11, 1941 in Parkville Maryland, son of the late Edward G. Quesenberry and Dorothy (nee Bowersox) Quesenberry. On December 28th, 1966, he married Gail Patricia Quesenberry (nee Lehman) who preceded him in death on June 5, 2017. In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his sister and brother- in- law, Jane (nee Quesenberry) Sparhawk and Edwin Sparhawk, his beloved aunt, Katherine Bowersox, his step mother, Twila Quesenberry (nee Snodgrass), and his father and mother- in -law, Irwin Tex Lehman and Doris (nee Windsor) Lehman. After graduation from the University of Maryland in 1964, Ed became a Certified Public Accountant and worked in accounting his entire professional career. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard having served from 1964 to 1970. In 1974 he moved to Bel Air, Maryland where he raised his family and lived for the remainder of his life. He was a faithful member of Mountain Christian Church. He enjoyed reading and nature but most of all loved spending his time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by two sons, David Edward Quesenberry, of Bel Air, Maryland, and Matthew G. Quesenberry, Sr. and his wife Molly (nee Aunkst) of St Marys, PA; one grandson Matthew G. Quesenberry, Jr., two granddaughters, Madison A. Quesenberry, and Megan P. Quesenberry, and his grand dog Bella. He also leaves behind a niece, Erin (Jeff) Link (nee Murray) and four nephews, Steve (Ardell) Sparhawk, Mike (Maggie) Sparhawk, Jim Sparhawk, and John (Rita) Sparhawk, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews, and a sister and brother-in- law, Helen (nee Lehman) and Pat Murray. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26) on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 1:30pm, at which time funeral services will begin.
